Got in my stand as usual for Novemnber way to early. At first light I stood and started looking around with the binoculars. Behind me about 500 yards I see several deer and one is running the others around, at that distance I cant see antlers but it is a very large bodied deer.I continue to watch and 3 deer start running my way closing the distance by 1/2.Now I can see it is a nice antlered buck and 2 does with 2 smaller bucks running around the big boy. He would chase the doe then turn and chase the smaller bucks off. Finaly after about a half hour the one doe and the bigger buck laid down in a weed patch. I cant see them but I know where they are at. one of the smaller buck makes a large circle around the bedded deer. After about 20 min the deer stand up and the doe turns and runs towards me with the larger buck close behind she stops about 75 yards away from my stand. she starts walking towards me but the big buck stays put, she gets about 35 yards away from the big buck when one of the smaller bucks runs up behind her and chases her away from me at a right angle. The big buck sees this and takes off after them the smaller buck breaks off of the doe turns around and heads back towards me. I thought that was it the bigger buck would follow the doe away from me. But he does not he keeps running after the smaller buck. The smaller buck runs past my stand and jumps 3 does out of the weeds about 50 yars on the other side of my stand. they run into the open field Im sitting by and stop. The bigger buck runs into about 30 yards stops and looks at the 3 deer on the other side of me and slowly starts to head towards them. I have been ready to shoot for abou 5 minutes now and when he walks into the open my arrow hits him tight behind the shoulder he spins and runs into the woods across the field(4runner you know where he went). I find him about 100 yards from where I shot him. I cant post pics but a friend of mine will post some for me today.
