As I have been wanting to do much more ground hunting this year I have been considering boot covers (possibly of fleece). Has anyone used such items before? If so, could you share your results as well as if they were homemade or purchased?

Thanks for the assistance.

If you choose to wear fleece on your feet, it will probably get leaves and other material stuck to it and could cause more noise than if they were uncovered.food for thought.

I have a pair of fleece boot covers.  I'm not particulary found of them.  The small and big briars grab them and hold on.  And they get wet and muddy easy.  I find the LL Bean hunting boot works real well.  And the trick is going slow enough and picking out foot placement.
