I have been looking at Don's bows and if anyone has one of his bows, even better one with carbon limbs, I would love to see a picture of how the limb lams. are layered.

Weather it is glass-wood-carbon-wood-glass or what?

I'm sorry it this is a silly request but I'm trying to get a picture of this in my mind. I have also emailed Don but I'm sure he is a busy man.

Best pic I could come up with. Hope it helps. He does his own lams so they are full length not spliced.

Thanks Rob, That is great!

How do you like that bow?

I love it! Great shooter and amazingly quiet. My next bow will be another Don Dow.

I don't have a pic of mine but I will say it is one of the best shooting bows I have purchased.  You will not be disapointed. When I ordered mine I asked Don about the advantage of adding carbon and he told m I could expect to gain 2 to 3ft per second. Is it worth the extra cost?? Only you can be the judge.  I replaced the stock string with a string from Oliver Stacy and the bow is plenty quick and the skinny string pepped the bow up quite a bit. Little bit louder but it was easy enough to quiet down.  Give Don a call he is informative and easy to talk to. IMO Don is one of the best kept secrets in the traditional world.

Does anyone have any pics. of the riser on his longbows? I would like to see more of the bow. Thanks.
