Made some stands sunday after noon . On the second to last stand see one coming in pretty good . Strait down the row of almonds . Gets to 100 yards and drifts to my left going down wind . Then he starts to drift back to my right and things look real good . Going to be lined up perfect. Gets to 40 yards and takes off in mach one right past me maybe 20 yards to my right. Barked at him and that just made him go into warp speed. Came in with my chicken distress call. (deer call ) doing chick chick chick chikaw. Works some times. Good thing Im not getting paid to kill these things . I also found where one did some scratching?. Kinda early. Need some foggy rainy weather they are still doing most of their stuff at night. And still too much food. I think.

Even the best hunters will have many more close calls than scores when hunting yotes.

Just the experience had to be quite rewarding.
