I wish I knew what that must be like, seeing your grandson take after yourself... but it must be grand! Congratulations all around, and may every bite be sweet and full of strength.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Read a story one time about a hunt between the grandfather, father, and son. It was awesome and hard to read without your eyes sweating a little. Bet this one was just like that with all the memories being made.

Wish I had the gremlins showing the train pulling the phrase, " This thread is useless without pics !!! " Get 'er done Uncle Bob "

" Just concentrate and don't freak out next time" my son Tyler(age 7) giving advise after watching me miss a big mulie.

Awesome. Didn't read all the replies. How old is the young feller?

The fulfillment of your hunt is determined by the amount of effort you put into it  >>>---->

Chandler turned 16 in August. At 9 years old he killed his 1st with a bow, 11 his 2nd,and has hunted maybe twice since then. He just started showing an interest again. I have not pushed him at all to hunt, it has to be the individual to hunt or not. Anyway he has been shooting and 2 weeks ago he got his license and tag.Yesterday he came down and I had already left to hunt. He know were the treestands are on our property, so he when there and saw 2 bucks missed one and shot the second larger one that was a harder shot to boot. As soon as I get pictures from his Dad I will post them.
