I have sat here patiently drooling every time I have seen an Eaglewing bow. Steve Tallant lives up to his name for sure, that man has God Inspiring Talent. I PMed Steve not to long ago if he had a bow I might be looking for. He promised I would not be disappointed. Well there is absolutely no disappointment here. This bow blows up the theory of whether sexy bows can be shooters. As a matter of fact, I don't think any bow I have shot comes close to being the shooter the Talon II is. Mama it was ripping my arrows and embedding them into the shed behind my target.
Thanks again Steve for your skill, and your quality as a Man. Bless your hands.

This was my third shot from 20 yards.

That is a sweet looken bow, to pretty to hunt with ...LOL

What are the specs? Good looking bow!

LongStick64

Wouldn't say that. True story, had a good friend, had a nice collection of Bear bows, wouldn't hunt with them, too valuable he used to say. After his divorce, greedy lawyers forced him to sell them to help pay. All because his darling wife knew how much he valued them.
After that lesson, all of mine head out for some fresh air whenever I can.

Yes it is Zebra and Wenge. Looks like Myrtle veneer. It's a 58" bow and I believe it to be 51@28 because at my draw of 26.6 I'm getting 46-47lbs. Just got it today and I don't own a Chrono. You'll just have to trust me to say she zips.

Ya that thing is sweet!  What a looker, and I have never heard a bad thing about Steve's bows.  I would bet it shoots as good or better than it looks.

That's why we buy them. Personally the only time I'm looking at them is when I'm putting them together, after that all I see is the shelf. But I can't lie, this bow looks like it's on steroids, and performs like it.

This is one of my personal favorite wood combinations. It is a fast bow. I was keeping this bow for myself but Peter asked if I had anything in stock. I really like the riser on this bow and the way the overall look is. It is also great to have good and happy customers.
Here is a pic of the bow unstrung.
God bless you all, Steve

I appreciate the kind comments folks. God is good and He is a wonderful friend and teacher.
I am first a bowhunter then a bowyer.
I build what I want in a hunting bow and I love working with wood. First they have to shoot though and these bows are shooters.
God bless you all, Steve

Here is what this bow does really well.
1. Points really well
2. Draws smoothly to my anchor, very consistent build up. She doesn't fight you at all.
3. No shock on release and it seems to deliver as much energy as possible to the arrow. Seems to prefer a stiffer arrow than what I use on similar weight bows.
4. And best of all, these are one of kind bows.

Peter:4. And best of all, these are one of kind bows.
I really appreciate analysis of these bows. It tells me a lot when I get input from many different people telling me what they think and that gives me what I need to work on.
The fourth point that you made on individuality is the difference in the EagleWing \\Custom and the new Eaglewing Pro Hunter series I am building. It is a no frills model of this bow that will have all of the shooting aspects of the Custom bow but with none of the things that constitute a one of a kind unique to you bow. The risers will be actionwood with minimal overlays ect but will be a very functionaly sound piece of get with the program hunting bow that will shoot on a par with any bow made in the world.
Now taking orders.
God bless you all, Steve
