I was fortunate enough to get a beautiful 9 point monday evening with my 54 pound Thunderchild. I was stalking in a Ghillie suit and seen him about 70 yards away moving my way in a swamp bottom. He would work his way in and out of sight and I took a few steps and kneeled in the edge of some cover while he was out of sight. He worked his way to about 15 yards from where I was kneeling when I released the arrow. He was my best buck ever with traditional gear and it was without a doubt the single most exciting hunt I've ever had. It did not seem natural to be that close to a deer without being in a blind or high in a tree. My accuracy has improved greatly over the past year, and much of the reason is the knolledge gained from this site and it's generous members. I tried to post a pic, however, I don't know if it worked.

You're welcome.  To the right on the photobucket page where your picture is, you'll see an area that says "Links".  Highlight the line next to where it says "IMG code".  Copy and paste that to your post and the photo will appear.  Make sure the original is no wider than 640 pixels or the picture will be removed by the mods.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

Super buck!

Those Thunderchild's do make meat.

You might say that are the electric version vs. the old hand crank.

Congrats!!
