I recently acquired a used, 64" Habu Death Adder. It's a beautiful bow, but it did not come with a string.  Can anyone verify the string length I need to order?

Thanks,
Ward

Just call Chris Cox and tell him to send you a string for it.  But other than that, I think you could tell just about any string maker the specifics of the bow, and they would send you a string.  By the way, if you ever decide you want to sell that bow...get ahold of me.  I'm a habu guy myself.

Thanks for the info.  I called Chris, left a message, and he quickly and kindly returned my call stating that most Adders were built using AMO string lengths (i.e. 3" less than bow length), but some early ones around 200 were not.  He recommended that I twist/untwist a string to obtain an 8" brace height, and then measure.  It looks like I need a 61-1/2" - 62" string.

Thanks,
Ward
