I currently use the EZ hanger and I like it because I can have my longbow out in front of me while sitting. Is there other holders out there that work better? I also hunt out of a lone wolf sit and climb, are there any attachments that hold a longbow or recurve that works well? Thanks guys

Gatekeeper has some excellent home-built hangers that he has crafted that are inexpensive.  PM him for details.

I also use the lone wolf and they have a rubber grommet that fits on the front of the platform...and it works for both recurves and longbows.  I think you can get them from a number of folks for around $10-12.

Always use my left hand, sometimes in conjunction with my lap. Always having the bow in hand... keeps me focused.   :archer:

I use the ez hanger too and like the fact that it hangs out in front of me.

I've been using the shorter EZ Hanger because it fits in my Cat Quiver II pockets better than the longer on which sticks out of the open zipper. IMHO the longer one would work better for me but I hate loosing things from an open zippered pocket like I've had happen before to me.

EZ Hanger but I wouldn't say I like it. It's just the best thing I have found.

across my lap and my hand. Would rather have it ready than have to reach for it when a passing deer wakes me up.

Love the EZ hanger. By far the best I have used

I use the small bow hangers and the short EZ hanger.  Probably prefer the EZ hanger for the same reasons as everyone else, keeps the bow away from the tree for easier access.  Never did like having the bow in my hands or lap for extended periods, seems to wear me out quicker.

Always in hand - tryin to limit movement if surprised.  I put one of those rubber things on the bottom limb and sometimes rest it on something.

sawed off branch or the screw in bow holder hooks from Walmart. Always try to hang in right in front of my bow arm. It's actually less movement to get to it than even lifting it and turning vertical from my lap.

My bow(with arrow nocked) is always in my hand and sometimes across my lap too. Deer are too sneeky to hang a bow on a hanger.

I have a web belt type made by lone wolf. It has a bow hanger on both sides and multiple gear hooks. I hang my GFA haversack on one side and my bow on the other. Works great and easier to install than my ez hanger.
