Just wondering if a lot of you use the same bow for hunting and target/3D, or have different bows for each? If different, please share some of your bows for 3D, I'm curious to know what you are using.   :archer2:

Always the same.  I have enough trouble shooting well without wondering about which trajectory bow I'm carrying.

Same for me.  I believe in getting as many shots thru my bow as possible to aleviate all guessing when hunting.

I tend to take different ones throughout the year but a month or two before the season starts I will decide on one and stick with it.

Everything the same. Bow,arrows, even quiver.

I use a bunch of different bows, but the arrow weight and bow weight stay real close or the same. Recurves and longbows!

i shoot my hunting setup after all the major events are over.i shoot a 70 in.win win inno carbon with win win winex limbs, beiter button and a spigarelli zero tolerance rest and a 10 degree offset stabilizer and pull 42 lbs..for hunting i use a black widow pma2 with a 56 lb.pull.i stringwalk in competition and grip it and rip it for hunting.i shoot 100 arrows a day out of my win win and about 50 out of the Widow.i havent seen any adverse affect from shooting both ways, but I do shoot alot. After Augest I try and shoot the widow as much as possible....

Always the same. Shooting the bow I hunt with is #1 Priority.

I do shoot a lot of other people's bows during the year though.

Although I don't shoot at 3D events, if I did, I would use my two bows I bowhunt with.

I shoot my same 45 lb Bear Super Kodiak for both.  This year I shot relatively lightweight arrows for 3D (GT1535's with 125 grn pts, total 390 grns) for a fast flat shot.  I hunted with cedars which with 170 grn 2-blade broadheads averaged 520 grns.  Next year I might try to split the difference with one set of GT3555's and brass inserts up front to beef up the 125's.

3-D is practice for hunting. Same set-up. 50# selfbow, 550 gr cedar arrows,  200 gr up front.
