I am thinking about getting some GT 3555. I think this would be the best for my setup. Please give me your opinion. My bow is a recurve fast flight string 48# @28. My draw is 27in.

Right now I'm shooting 2016 cut to 28 with 175g up front. And they shoot great.

I also shoot 2114 cut to 28 with 200g up front and they shoot great also.

On the GT I am thinking about getting some of Big Jim's GT blems. Do you think A 3555 GT cut to 28 with 200g up front would work with my setup.
Thanks

Yes, it should work quite well. The actual needed length may vary a little but that should be extrenely close.
thanks, bigjim

i shoot 48 @ 27 & draw 27 inches.  i use GT 3555 cut to 29 inches with 175 gr broadheads & they work well for me.

I shoot the GT blems from Big Jim and love em'.  People gripe about them all the time, but I have never had a problem with them or the nocks.  Broke two nocks in about 2 years. A 2016 spines at .530 and the 2114 at .510, so you should be in the ballpark.  Don't know if you bareshaft tune or not, but if you'll try it you will know for sure. Leave your 3555's long at first, carbons recover faster than aluminums.

Love the GT blems from Big Jim.  Never had any problems with either of them.  Great shafts and great customer service.

I shoot a 50# at 30" which is 47# @ 28" and that's what I shoot at 31". Just remember to start long and cut off no more than 1/4" as you tune.

They are ok. I like the Carbon Express better as they are more grains per inch. Jim has them also.
