Yesterday, Jackdaw and I made a road trip to visit Mike and Sue Shaw. What a great time. If anyone does not know Mike and Sue, you are missing out. They are some of the finest folks you would ever want to know.Mike showed us his fantastic "Bear" collection .Afterwards, Sue prepared a tray filled with baloney and cheese,and we talked the afternoon away.They have a very nice traditional bow shop in the downstairs. We shot some bows and shot some arrows. Mike is great for fixing and tuning bows.He set up my newly acquired 1962 Bear Grizzly,complete with a cool string made by my friend Monkeyball. Mike and Sue are great archers, but better yet, they are some great folks that represent our sport and passion for archery.

18th century when you say a bow shop do you mean a retail shop? If so where are they located? Thanks, Greg

We started a small traditional shop in our basement about 8 months ago and it is growing. Custom built arrows, custom strings, all that good stuff. We are just outside of Boyertown Pa. Oh and I almost forgot great snacks at times    >>----->
