thanks guys,,,,, After butchering the deer yesterday, I found out why my arrow snapped in half like that.......punched through the near-side shoulder blade---nice 4-sided holw through it with a full length split going through it as well.
I was wondering how in the heck I broke a carbon arrow like that with a hole on either side....when she was running, the top 1/2 just flopped out like no penetration, but I knew better than that-----mystery solved :cool:

My daughter loves getting in on helping find them if I'm close enough to home. This time she missed out but still got in on the pictures; she even hung around and "helped" during butchering.....
