Expensive? Well yes 52.00 I guess is expensive but i really like venison and she's twice the size of an average Georgia doe so 'yeaaaa backstraps'

I still cant get over that buck. I have a hard time calling him a deer. Hes one of those other worldly beasts that always make the right move at the right time and doesnt do all of the silly things the 3 1/2 year olds do. Id be happy just to step foot on his home turf.

I'll sure be looking for more stories out of this one!  I've got a Kansas tag in my pocket and am really looking forward to getting down there.  Although for us, it's going to be a late December hunt, so leave a few, will ya?

Saw 21 deer last night

Just not the 'right' one if you know what I mean

Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

Friend

I sense the foreshadowing of a great hunt.

Most of my greatest hunts have not ended with a harvest.

Looking forward to hearing more of yours and your group's experience.

Nice shooting on the doe Ray but you didnt drive from Georgia just to shoot a big doe did ya?  I believe what someone was saying is that the nonresident license and buck and doe tag aren't the cheapest.  Plus if you add the expenses of getting there and back.  I hope that doe is tastier than the ones from your home state.  Can't wait to hear how the rest of the gang faired on this hunt.   :campfire:
