I drive a Toyota but when I'm thinking trad, my thoughts go to a 1972 Chevy K2500, totally scratched up and muddy.
Anything wood, leather or wool. Stag handled knives.
But modern materials are good too.
LoweBow, you sound plenty Trad to me. I'm on 250 acres, wood heat, big garden and hunting out the back door. Don't know about the Rap music...

How about the sound of hoofprints in leaves from a monster trophy P&Y deer(which in my trad world is any deer of any size) that walks by just out of range at a whopping 30 yds.  Then you just smile and give thanks at the experience rather than the lack of a kill.

A good knife on my hip, my compass and old Marbles Match safe in my pocket and the smell of damp wool.

To Izzy's "Fathers and sons."  I would add "Fathers and daughters . . ."

My old 28 gauge Parker double and my old Orvis bamboo fly rod. My self bow and horn nocked bamboo arrows in my fox quiver. My fathers old hunting knife and a good cigar, Romeo and Juliata or a Macandu. My best friend and hunting companion my 8 year old wire haired pointer Cecil. My Jeep Wrangler and getting to spend a day in the woods with my son.

My goodness, we all seem to have listed almost all the same things in one way or another.... no big surprise there....

For me, First the friends and family.  Hunting played a major role for my family.

Second, Wool like Woolrich... I grew up in the North East...

The good bird guns, yes SxS's in 20 and 16 ga. both American and even old european like my JP Sauer with Krupp barrels...
The hand down fly rods.. bamboo or early fiberglass along with boxes of favoriate hand tie's.
Have my Dads Fedora...
Have some old Bear RH's
The old deer rifles.. 94's and Savages...
My hand built muzzle loaders..

And we could all go on and on....

Amen Brother!  Nice pic, it says alot, and says even more about traditional archery.

Wood fire, a big crock of venison chili with corn bread, the smell of damp wool and leather, respected hunting partners, all things hand made.

Launching an arrow skyward, almost vertical, and having a grandson or granddaughter, go "Wow Grandpa, thats a long ways"

and watching it fall to earth.......

This season? Skeeter bites & disappointment.
