I was wondering what are you guys using for back stop(back drop) behind your target when shooting inside? I know you can buy some kind of "net" but I don't know where andI would like to know if there is diffeent stuff available.
thank you

I have found great utility with using an 8' X 4' rubber horse stall mat suspended at the top from a 2" X 6".  They can be found at most farm supply stores for around $30.00 and, although heavy, they do stop the off-target arrows without damaging them.

try a search -  lots of good stuff like rubbers pads, hay bales, chicken coops, ply wood

Here is one I made for the back yard.  You could easily make a smaller one for indoors buy cutting down the mat.

I made one very similiar to Bel007's except I went height wise instead of width wise. They work great.

I asked months ago and was told old "free" hottub covers.  Trust me they work!  And worth the price  :)

Thank you guys! and if these horse mats would be available up here...maybe they are??? I will check.
What about the net they use in shooting range? are they available anywere in resonable size and price?
Look like if I can find a horse mat, it would do the job... Thank you Bel007

Dave, I use rubber belting that I get from a company the has a lot of conveyors and They give it to me for nothing. The stuff works great! I priced the netting once and the price was I felt very high, but then I'm cheap.
