I was sitting on the stand thinking, why has no one produced the most effective deer calls to sell? There are some fine calls, the grunt, bleat, rattle bags etc. but why has no one produced the good ones yet?
the most effective call would probably be the sound of a bow rope being tied to the limb and sliding through your fingers. followed closely by the sound of a boot leaving the stand and contacting the top step. Maybe a fly unzipping at 20 feet above the ground. I am sure there are many more, If someone wants to market these I will not have any hard feelings.
Just some thoughts after a relaxing day, letting the troubles of the world melt away in a tree, shoot straight.

I heard if you keep tossing small stones or acorns out of your stand then nearby deer will think its time for a free lunch.

EDIT; wait a minute I took this way to seriously!

The audible sound of my heart beating at full stress test levels.

That unique sound of the "twack" meat cleaver sound as the arrow goes where it was intended or the heart breaking thud sound of the arrow as it takes out the sapling or limb that you didn't see jump in front of your arrow as it's on it's way toward your intended target.

Or the sound of a blunt arrow being pulled from a quiver...(Troy).

Or the sound of boots walking OUT of the woods.

Sound of me peeing into a jug.

True story. Finished peeing, capped the jug, hung it up, grabbed the bow, shot a doe and a button buck.

What would work for me is the sound of a cup of coffee being poured from a thermos.

I'm a big fan of the snoring call. Also the standing up to fluff your cushion call.

My favorite is the knee and ankle cracking during a stretch. Of course you can't get the proper cracking tone unless your bow is hanging on the hook behind you.

i dont have any funny ones, as i have had most of these stated above happen to me.. on the other hand, as Tajue 17 said, if your hunting an acorn tree or a persimmon tree, grab a hand full before you go up in the stand. when u see a deer , start flippin them out. i promise it will bring them in those "extra few" yards needed. really works on a persimmon!
