I have South Cox building me a "special" bow. And these last 2 weeks are driving me crazy. What do you guys do to keep your mind off of the wait??? I have already built some GT's that should work . Ordered string silancers, brush gaurds, and even a clicker.... I am going mad I tell ya. Mad...  :D

The longest period of time known to man is the time between ordering a new bow and receiving said bow.  I've had a hard time waiting 3 days for a used bow, seems my patience is getting shorter as I get older.    

LOL. This will be the 5th custom I have ordered. But the one I am looking most forward to getting. Can't wait to see what she looks like... South is a real artist.

Going through the same thing String Cutter. Mine is even finished (I think) and had an extra day forced on me because of the holiday yesterday. I definitely have the 3-day figits!

When I order my first Blacktail TD recurve, it took 13 months before I received it. When I ordered my second Blacktail TD recurve, it took 15 months to receive.

Basically, after I sent in the order, I just forgot about it until the 12 month mark. Then I started getting anticipation......and for good reason if you get my drift.    

I've got a new Blacktail coming in December. I ordered it last October. I am starting to get excited now...Leaving for the Philippines in a few days to do some mission work. What I'll be doing there is much more important then a bow so I try to keep my priorities right.

I can barely wait a week for a used bow    :D

Im in for a Habu Vyperkahn and right now I've waited 22 months and 3 days...    
And the best part is that I know my name is up any day now       ...any day  :D

I've never bought a custom bow but I told a guy yesterday I want to buy his bow. Still haven't heard anything from him so I don't know if it's sold yet or what. That is killing me I can't imagine waiting 15 months!!! I'm in the same boat as most of you guys, it kills me to wait a week for a used one! Good luck!!

Just got an ILF from Morrison that was supposed to be a three month or so wait. She got here in just over two months. The wait is half the fun. Bow is AWESOME too!!!

I've bought several custom bows but never had to wait much more than a week.  You can't beat the classifieds.

I like Craig Ekin ... 3-4 weeks ... even that might be too long for what I have ordered !

Mine is going to be a true one of a kind. He said he's never done it before..... Can't wait!!!  

Yeah I can certainly relate. I have Leon Stewart building me a one peice longbow. Can't wait for this bow to be done.

Yeah.... Same story... I have a new Blacktail on order since Jan. with delivery about 15 mo. out. What a struggle the wait is.

Lost Creek - 3 weeks!

A little over two years for my last Brackenbury Quest, on the list now for a Peerless, the wait is still about 24 months. Cannot rush perfection.

Maybe we should all order a Randal knife just to get accustomed to waiting
