I just picked up a 13" ILF riser Zipper with 40lb Tradtech long limbs from GRINCH in the classifieds.   Excellent transaction and great bow.

First impressions..... its very pretty, fits the hand good The tradtech limbs look really nice and it draws very smoothly even out to my 29" draw.  No stack, or finger pinch.   I'm guessing it to be around 45-47pounds at my 29" draw.    I was really impressed at the way it zipped an arrow.  This riser must be very forgiving of spine or else I nailed it perfect on my first attempt but a 30" Goldtip 35/55 with 200gr point flew perfect.  bare shaft flying as good as a fletched one.    This gives  me a total arrow weight of 455grs and clocked out at a very consistent 178fps.    I also tried some with weight tubes that weigh in at 590grs and clocked 155fps.

I had originally thought these limbs would be too light to hunt with but after shooting it and even testing out a few with 200gr muzzy phantoms I think it will probably do just fine on whitetails and blackbear.   As light and easy to shoot as it is I think it will be a good candidate for late season .  Always easier to pull a few pounds lighter when its cold and your stiff.   This little bow might just come with me to do late season ILL whitetails this year.

I have a 17" Zipper ILF, Trad Tech recurve 40# shorts and 35# longbow limbs. I am very pleased with it so far. Bill does a great job on the risers. It feels just like my Standard Zipper...and that's good!  Enjoy......

I put a EFA 4 arrow quiver on it.  Fits it like a glove.

The sight window isn't very long. I wonder how it would do with a 30" draw length.

You do have to can't the bow a bit to get a good look at the target but I haven't found it to be a problem.
