He was sitting on the trail to my tripod....about 3 or 4 feet shy of my tripod. Glad it was an afternoon hunt.

So, ya got him nailed to the ground... what did ya do next... LOL...  He still looks pissed

One of my student did a six footer in Brooks Co. TX like that the other day.. cept he did not pin em in the middle... there was still some "strike" distance and a pissed worm...

Snakes! don't know what it is about them but two years in a row, while hunting nearly stepped on one

Killed a 6 ft'er last year while retreiving an arrow,almoost reached ot and touch him before I saw him.

We've got Plenty Tex rattlers Jeff! Least of which will make you jump through your own butt! Got to where I don't kill them anymore unless near the house. Must be getting soft?

I don't kill them either unless they're real close to where I want to be....like camp or under my tripod
