I just got some beeman mfx arrows and the nocks are pretty tight on my string. I was wondering if they sell nock adapters for these arrows and glue on nocks. I just bought some for my goldtip arrows and I really like them. I really dont like sanding my nocks, thanks brad

I've never seen adapters for these shafts. You might check the Easton website since the Axis shafts are the same specs. They may have something there that I am not aware of.

Personally I make my own strings and shoot the MFX shafts which use the same X nock as the Axis. I make my strings and serve them so the nocks fit well. It is no big deal to learn to serve. Sounds like if you used a lighter serving thread it would solve your problem and save you some $$$.

I shoot Beman MFX also.  Just use some sandpaper to widen them or use your teeth to "stretch" them a bit.

Well, if you don't wanna use sandpaper, you're probably gonna have to re-serve that string or have someone else do it for ya. It really is easy to do and you won't have to make a whole new string either. There's lots of info on Youtube on doin' it yourself.

I would just re-serve the string also.

I've heard some people dip them in hot watter to soften them up then stick them on the string for fitting. Might be worth a try.

JRY309

I serve my strings to fit,I'll sometimes sand them alittle for a better fit.The only other nock choice I've seen are Bohning A-nocks for Axis/MFX,they have a slightly bigger throat then the Easton X-nocks.

Jim Wright

Since you don't want to sand them you can put just enough water in a cup to cover the throat of the nock. Get it boiling in a microwave then holding the shaft, put the nock in for 3 or 4 seconds and put it on the serving, it will open up to fit. Do 4 to 6 then reheat the water for a few seconds to boiling again and continue.

i shoot the beeman mfx 400s and sand my nock to fit never had any break and i shoot almost every day, good luck  on what ever you do
