Curious if anyone knows the depth of the hood on a Great Northern quiver. Just making sure my Grizzly and Woodsman heads will fit.

Thanks

About 2 5/8 maybe a hair more. I carried a 3:1 head one year but had some sticking out. Deltas fit good.

I think they offer a larger hood now but not sure.

grizz and woodsmans fit pretty good. I have both in my GN

I have woodsmans in mine. What I did was I took an extra broadhead and heated it up. When it got hot I pressed it into the hood. It kinda melts in there and they fit much better, go in easier, and may even stay sharper a little longer when putting them in and out.

the griz and hh broadheads stick out the bottom by almost a 1/2 inch, i took the hood off, cut out a new one 3/4 inch longer in the back and 5/8 longer in front, and sewed it up. installed and still useing it 8 years latter, have made a couple, gave one away for the drawing at the tbot hill country shoot out a couple of years ago. i think sam steavens won it..

JEFFRO, did you also add foam or just leave it original? This is what I was thinking of doing anyway since I'm gonna cover the hood in a hide from the impala I shot.
