TJ, Great buck and bow! Can you tell me what kind of silencers you have on there? The black fuzzy ones.

Thanks guys

Mike brought something to my attention today. He thinks some will think I didnt use my CS broadhead as the arrow on the deer has no blood on it. Thursday night (the night i shot the deer) after I got home I took the broadhead off, cleaned the mud and blood off it and the arrow. I stood the kill arrow up to dry, ran the head across my stones a few times and put it on a new arrow. Hence the reason there is no blood on it.

For the record I told him none of you guys would have even had that thought. He said as usual Tom you have your head in the sand.

Nice one!  Looks like the new strategy paid off fast.   :D

Those situations are hard to figure. I never like to go after anything the evening of a marginal hit, but rain has put me on the trail faster than  I would like more than once.

Tom, Congrats. I would have cleaned her up and sharpened her for another go. I think Chris would be happy.
