Well yesterday I should have been out of the deer woods by 7:00 am.       She actually broke my Ace tipped Sitka Spruce between her front legs running.Turns out that 15 yard shot was actually 20. Guess I was counting my backstraps before they were made.         That's right sports fans even ole bentpole misses once in a while    

I bet she broke your arrow on purpose! Congrats on the hunt, you will get her next time.

Closing the deal is only a small part of the equation.  Getting close enough is the trick.  You did the hard part Bent, Congratulations!

Just means you get to shoot another arrow! Doesn't sound like a bad thing to me!

I'm betting that your arrows were still waterlogged after all the recent flooding. The extra weight of the arrow has to be what caused the shot to go low.    Set those shafts out in the sun to dry today!

Hey Ron, if I was in the same shape as I was that day we shot at Whittingham      Scott and Skipper we have to do a hunt soon! We have to get Mikey out of God's Country and organize a Tri-State Terrors Hunt !

Hey Tom, glad to see someone is taking advantage of the early season around here. It's been a little too warm for me but the last few days have gotten me thinking about getting out.
