With all due respect I have a love for the outdoors including traditional archery. And traditional muzzleloading. It was a big goal for me this year to get my first traditonal deer but after a new baby coming along and my bow project only turning out at about 35# I didn't have the time or money for another try so I though it would be more ethical to use something more suited for the jOb no worries though I won't be sharing any more.

My dream buck is a buck in velvet, of any size.

That is a true trophy.

U didn't post the picture of the bow with the deer. I took pleasure in seeing it.

U can just PM something like that next time if it offends people.

I enjoyed seeing it thoroughly.

Sometimes when you hunt from the ground you can have too many deer show up at one time...lol

I was in process of making my draw on a nice fat doe this evening when another that I hadn't seen busted me.

There were 4 altogether and I had 3 of them in front of me but the 4th was hard to my left and I never saw her until she ratted me out..lol

God bless,Mudd

Took a doe this AM with my TD prototype, she spun toward me at the shot, took her high and a little back , then went on thru and broke her hind leg on the off side.

She was broadside at 14 yds and unaware when I shot. Angled toward me and I presume, duckin when it got there.

625 grains off a 45# bow,still don't know how it performed...    :dunno:

Sorry no pics, was runnin late as usual.

Maybe the next one will hold still....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Reilly Hood is the man. How did you keep him under control.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

Way to go Kenny! I got out tonight had about a 7" spikes,  spike walk right in front of me at 10 feet.  I was on the ground in my Rancho Safari ghillie and he never knew I was there,    pretty cool!  Maybe next time it will be a doe or a buck I wanna use my tag on?

I went out to a public land round Warrensburg Friday night and saw 12. Hit full draw on one but it didnt feel right. Went back out last night, saw one and missed a squirrel

Good job Kenny!  Don't thin out too many of those doe.  I may need them for bait for one of those big boys in a couple weeks.  See you soon.  David

Congrats to the harvests. I had a nervous doe at 12 yards opening morning. Probably should have shot at the time I was waiting for a perfect shot op.
Haven't seen anything since. Have a friend coming in today and we'll get to hunt a couple of days.

i think i found out where hes been hiding out at,
now i gotta figure out my best aproach, before he moves off to another part of the country.

...the video is pretty shaky, but i heard something behind me and lost track of where he was when i turned to look ..

any guesses what he might score?

i was checking my trail cam this mornning and had a little three point walk up on me, he was about ten yds before i knew he was there, so i froze and he came in to about five yds, he gave me a good stare down before he decided to move away. that was fun!   also i shot at a sqirrel and when the arrow hit the bottom of the tree a doe bounced out from behind it, WOW! i didnt even see her, and she had no clue what was going on......cool stuff this morn.. seen four deer. and the big boy!!!!    my hopes are up.
