My heart was in my mouth!

Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

ksbowman,  I was in southern spain, an hour and a half away from Sevilla, on a 5000 acre bowhunting only ranch.
I went there with enough funds for a red Hinde or maybe a Fallow Doe, and would you know it, i had the daddy of all stags offering me a shot. :-)
Great experiance though!

Very nice Andrew, yes the bad about the European preserve is that you pay for the trophy not for the hunt and it can be scary expensive. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome Felix, glad you enjoyed the pics.
You are right, but if you are not dazzled by horn and antler, it can be affordable and well worth the price just to be able to hunt with my bow.
