Hey all,

I have always liked the looks of the Pronghorn TD Longbows, but I have never had the chance to handle or shoot one.  I also like the ACS TD too.  Heck there are lots of TD longbows I like the looks of.  I plan on getting one as soon as I get my ILF recurve situation resolved.

I'd like to know how the Pronghorn compares to the other big name td longbows.  If you want to throw in some comments about your favorite TD LB, I wouldn't mind at all hearing them.  And of course, pics are HEAVILY ENCOURAGED!!!

Those Kwik Styks are also very nice.....

Thanks

Not sure of what your ILF situation is but keep in mind there are some excellent choices in ILF Longbow. Look at Morrison, Zipper, Dryad, Sky. All have ILf Longbow limbs that are great performers, possibly perform better than standard longbows.

Pronghorns are great bows. They look good, are smooth and acceptably fast, and are made by a good guy. The riser gives them enough physical weight that they are stable. You should see a bunch of Pronghorn aficiandos on this thread. The bow on my avatar is my Pronghorn TD 62".

I may be slightly biased in that Herb is a great friend. I own three TD Pronghorn LBs and have owned a lot of other brands shapes and sizes. These are the three that I have kept.  The recurve I shoot is also a pronghorn.  As mentioned they are a smooth shoot where you look quick longbow built with pride and expert craftsmanship.

The Pronghorn is my favorite TD longbow...It's smooth, fast enough and just seems to point beautifully...It's the longbow I'm most accurate with. I also own an ACS TD...also a real nice bow but the Pronghorn just feels better to me.

Roadkill

I have several great longbows.  My go-to bow is my td pronghorn.  I like the extra mass in the riser.  She is sooo sweet to shoot

It must be a good bow, I will have to try one in the future.

Roadkill and Traxx talk me in to buying one I wanted to go to the Longbow safari that was all I was going to use it for. Now I own two of them and I am hook the sweetest shooting bows I have shot.
