Hey gang, I head to the San Juan NF in SW CO in a week, to hunt elk. I cannot wait. I'm planning to camp near Lizard Head/Dunton. Anyone have experience in this area please shoot me a PM. I love fall and the harvest.

No experience with that particular area. However we are starting to see fall come rapidly here, i.e in some areas of the high peaks they are starting to receive snow. Also remember to stay properly hydrated so you can enjoy the hunt.
