First time I had hunted this blind this year, natural blind, named the Rabbit blind, nother story. Wife, myself and several friends have taken a ton of deer over the years from this blind, the wife both her best bucks and my  second best buck. I had intentions to get into a stand at home, but my gut feeling told me to go to this natural blind. I got there 6:30, settled in, fighting a cold had to cough at 7 pm. 7:10 squirres up above me started raising cain, and I thought now I have not move except to cough while here, what is the racket about. Right after that thought a huge bobcat walks right past me, at 6 FEET!! Man, this was close! I took 2 last season with a firearm, and saw more last year, in daylight, than the rest of my life, and have dozens of trail cam pics. I will be there looking for him after season opens for them. About 7:30, 6 yotes start serenading about 150 yds across the field down in a holler, and I figured the night was done. At 8:02 I noticed something out of my righ periphel vison, and here comes a doe walking up picking, at about 12 FEET!! I am putting tension on the string, have a broadside shot, waiting for her to look away, when here comes Bambi, about#25 with spots and runs up between her and me. Glad I had not shot, but a few seconds more and it would have been too late. They continue to pick, and the little one comes over and looks into the window of sorts in the blind, looks at me close, I am frozen, does this 3 times, his nose about 14 inches from the knuckles on my bow hand, picking at a vine growing up the blind. This went on till 8:20 then the doe started blowing when she got to the bobcat scent, and they took off back the way they came. This was just a great exciting evening. Made me feel pretty good about scent control, and as a hunter, when having very alert animals this close and not be spotted. As a plus, there was no wind tonight, dead still. Just thought I would share.

WOW, you had a great evening.  Sure beats the heck out of me jackhammering concrete and digging up a broken pipe, but it does pay for my hunting trips.

Thanks for sharing, what an evening. I think bobcats are something special. I've only seen 3, but what a thrill it was each time.

Evenings like this, only happen when bowhunting! I feel we, as bow hunters, especially trad bowhunters have to do our best, in everything we do, to be successful, from tuning our gear, wathcing the wind, and most of all the right mindset, staying calm and not jumping the gun! I value last nights experience as much as a deer or turkey on the ground.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
