My trad buddy sold me on the KME 2 blade broadhead sharpener. I've been taking a look at the kit and was wondering if you can use the straight jig to sharpen knives or if it isn't the correct angle? I am inept at sharpening of any kind   :D

Get the KME knife sharpener and you can do both.  It is not as quick to sharpen broadheads but works great.  And you have the advantage being able to do knifes.  Call KME and talk about options if you want to do both knifes and broadheds.

Ron can probably answer this better, but since the blade of a knife is longer and usually has a pronounced curve using the BH sharpener would likely be difficult.  In fact, I don't see how you could do it with anything but the shortest knives.

Also, the BH sharpener has a fixed bevel angle.  The knife sharpener is adjustable.  Different angles will give you longer lasting edges or finer edges depending on how steep the bevel is.
