Hey Roger, I'm wondering if we're going to have a no carbon rule in camp this year???    ;)

I love my Easton Axis carbons and I'm looking forward to putting Timbo's Trailmaker broadheads through the paces this fall, but I've also been thinking of bringing some Acme Premium shafts with two blade Magnus heads to camp(got the shafts from John Grumley before he passed) for nostalga sake. I also loved Rogue River shafts when I used to get them from Paula and Cecil, and it's good to hear Wapti is still producing same stuff. I've heard good things about Larry at Lost Nation so certainly that's a good option. Also, Shawn Leonard has always had good info, so if he's saying Surewood, probably a good bet too.

Let's talk soon buddy. Camp's not far off.

The Trailmaker on an Axis shaft was just the ticket for me last year, I'm sure I will be using them this year also.

I just have a itch to make a few....

Yessir camp is only a month away....you should start making pies now!

Roger, I just talked with mom the other day and the apples are not ripe yet. As soon as they are, you can bet I'll start practicing making some pies. Of course they're meant to be eaten slightly warm, so I'll practice eating them too.   :biglaugh:
