Yesterday afternoon, I was out shooting at a tennis ball in the backyard.  My neighbor and his brother-in-law were chatting nearby and called me over.  After talking for a bit, the brother-in-law, eyeing my bow, says, "You any good with that?"

"I keep my freezer full, if that's what you mean."

"How far can you hit something? Can you hit that ball from here?"

I'd left the ball back about 60 yards from us. I nocked my arrow and let her fly. POP! Dead center! One skewered tennis ball.

My neighbor about wet himself. I acted like it was no big deal. The brother-in-law just stood there with this dumb look on his face.

It was awesome.

Hahaha, good thing they didn't ask you to do it again. Great shot!

Great stuff! By the time the brother in-law finishes talking, you'll be Robin Hood. Way to represent the Trad guy's.

There's just some moments when you put all the pieces together.  It doesn't happen all the time but when it does.....oh yes!

Thanks for letting us know about that one.  NI-Hi-ICE!

Great display of the combination and long practices and great equipment coming together at the proper time.   One of my favorite things to do is take 3-4 golf balls and toss them out at different distances and take random shots at them.   Doing that is a great way to learn to focus and shoot at tiny spots.
