I have been trying to hunt the game lands here in VA. It is very hard with all the dog running they do here. I got an email from a lady who has 100 acres and is haveing the deer eat all her plants up. It hasn't been hunted in 5 yrs. She said I could get my limit from her back deck while drinking coffee. LOL don't think I will be doing that but gives me something to look forward too. Glad I finally have a place to go without a crowd.

Not saying I will get anything. But I will have a better chance now. I have not taken a deer with a bow yet. Now that I'm trad only its more chalanging but more fun too.

I just had to talk about it to someone. The wife has no intrest in hearing about hunting. So I just had to get it out. I am getting good groups shooting out to 20 yrds. Not going to try anything farther than that.

I am planning on heading out there in a few days and putting together a few natural ground blinds.

Good luck to all the fellow Trad Gangers out there. I hope its a good season for all of us.

Hey , sounds great, take the lady so kind of gift one time and be sure and spend some time just yacking with her and you may have you a nice hunting place for years.I see you have a little man,,before you know it you will have your own hunting buddy. My kids all love shooting with me.I have 7 kids and six grand kids so arrows are hard to keep around here, lol.I just set up an extra ladder stand i had in my back yard and the boys are having a blast practicing from that now.I had been telling them they better try some shots out of a treestand before season because it is diffrent. Was really funny watching them try it the first day.Good luck!
