I am thinking of the Ameristep swivel tripod seat- the leg height goes from 16-19", and since it swivels you can rotate with little to no noise. however it does not have a back rest.

what are you all using?

Modified to drop the right arm down when shooting. Actually works fairly well, though difficult to keep my eyes open at times.

This is my favorite made by Woodsey Too treestands.

Here is their website:  http://www.woodseytoo.com/hunting-accessories.htm

The chair is at the bottom of the page.

You may want to sit on that one in a store if you can first!  If it is the one I had it is about as comfortable as sitting on a bike seat post without the seat!  I found a cheapo at Dicks sporting goods like the one pictured above by Brian R but with out arms which I prefer for bowhunting in a pop up blind.
For natural ground blinds I use this but modified it to make it a little higher.

Good luck.

I use the 360 degree Huntmore chair.  A bit bulky, but no more so than those already pictured.  Very comfortable and excellent back rest.  Swivels 360 degrees as well, adjustable for height, and the legs also adjust individually for uneven terrain. Built like a tank to last. A bit pricey, but can't beat it IMO.  It's the only blind chair you'll ever need.

My wife and I have used the cheap swivel three legged ones for years. Pieces and parts would break and I would cannibalize previous broken ones to make them work again. I hated how they always sunk in the mud, the feet would break off when it was cold, the hubs would crack when we leaned on them too hard, the springs would dislodge when trying to adjust the heights and if I forgot my add on butt pad, I would get my boys pinched when I would lean forward to shoot. Now I know that all that makes me sound like a sissy, but Huntmores are really comfortable.

I just got the Primos QS3 stool on sale at BP.  Good chair for the money - quiet, sturdy, and has back support.  Not great for hauling long distances, but does pack up okay with a clip.  Also doesn't swivel, but it is a tripod style so you have a little more mobility.

Huntnut, that little turkey chair is pretty slick lookin. For huntin in the blind I have both the large & small DB chairs. The large is nice for a longer sit, but the little one will fit in the blind bag with the blind for transport.
If I'm hunting without a blind & there's some trees for a back rest I like the nifty-seat.

I use the same. One thing is for sure, get a chair that is comfortable or you WILL be not be able to sit still after a half hour or so. I made that mistake!

Huntmore. More dollars, more worth it, more comfort.

Ordered 2 of these after a trip to Hog Heaven.  Very sturdy, fairly lightweight, no set up to speak of and very portable.
