Anyone here put replacement hood foam (for a bow quiver) into their back or side quiver for broadheads?  I was thinking about ordering replacement foam from 3Rivers and trying it in my Mike's Archery Leather back quiver.

I know others use various loose materials, but I wanted something a little more secure and maybe quieter.

On a more general note, though it's been covered before, what are you using for broadheads in your back/side quiver?

I put in mine as I like to position the arrow and foam allows that. You can get the arrow you want by feel while focus stays on the PR ISE

I use a cutout of thick shag carpet cut to the same shape as the bottom of my  backquiver .
Works a treat.
As for broadheads ... any well made two blade lie Ace or Ribtek are what you'll find in my back quiver. Side Stalker and Arrowmaster may find some VPA's plus two blades
For my side stalker and Arrowmaster I have replaced the foam with cut outs from a swimming pool accessories dept  shop [ out the back they have heaps of dense foam ]. Cheap and easy

swimming noodles make good replacements for your quiver, and for your use you can custom size it.

I use a slightly oversize piece of foam from an old sofa cushion. Works perfectly for me.

Another dandy foam is the stuff you can buy in the gardening section of the big home improvement stores to kneel on when gardening.  Its like 3/4 inch thick and real nice firm closed cell stuff.  I just cut 2-3 pieces and glue together with contact cement to get the thickness I need.

I added 2 layers to the Safari Tuff duiker quiver I just bought to give better hold on the Snuffers.

I got this tip from Randy Morin: High density foam from the local kayak barn.  They use it inside the kayak to keep them afloat when filled with water.  It is the quietest foam that I have found and $15 got me enough to do a dozen quivers.  The first thing I do when getting a new quiver is change the foam.

Yoga blocks work great. 10 bucks for 2 at walmart will do 6 or more quivers.
