Tusker or Grizzly single bevel broadheads whats your preference and why?

I like the Grizzlies for toughness,weight and smooth profile.They may be no longer available though.

Tusker are hard, but not quite as hard as the Griz so somewhat..."somewhat" easier to set that original 25* bevel.

Taken a few deer with Tuskers S.B. I've not seen that much tissure damage in a bow-killed deer--EVER!

Reminded me of my 7x57 Mauser with 140grain Ballistic tip damage! Gotta be something to that single bevel whipping thru tissue to do that sort of damage!

Still sharp enough to shave hair, too.

Grizzlies and Tuskers, two of my favorites right there!  

I had both Tusker Concords and Steelforce singles in my quiver last year because I couldn't get any 200 gr. Grizzlies in LH bevel. Didn't kill anything cause I was hunting one particular buck who never did give me a clean shot but, I have full and total confidence in both the heads you mentioned and the Steelforce too.

Grizzly. Easier to sharpen, and stronger.

Tusker. Grizzlies are too jolly hard to find! Usually they're out of stock!

I love grizzlys but like stated above you can't find em anymore...I ordered a dozen concords and love em.....they fly great...easy to sharpen and always in stock. Braveheart archery has em....

For the choices given, I'd go with the Tuskers because finding Grizzly broadheads is becoming very difficult. Many vendors, who used to sell them, don't have any to sell.

I think you would be very pleased with the Toughheads.  Grizzlies are great but hard to get right now.

For REALLY big animals, there are better heads than the Tuskers, which are not the strongest and toughest broadheads on the market, but for most of what we hunt they are plenty strong and not nearly as expensive as some of the other brands. For anything in North America other than the grizzly and polar bears, a Tusker Concorde is easily sufficient, and would do fine in most situations even on those bears. However, I want to have the strongest heads I can buy when after big, tough, dangerous game, so I would pick something besides the Tuskers in situations like that. Right now the toughest 2 blade heads on the market appear to be the VPA Penetrator, the Tuffhead, the ABS Ashby and the Silver Flame, and all of them are readily available -- at a price! The Abowyer Brown Bears, the Grizzly's and a few others are also up near the top of the list and may be good choices too. The Tuffhead appears to be an improved Grizzly design, and I hope to get more information about how they perform on big animals in the near future. Other than having a double bevel, the new VPA Penetrators appear to be the best head made for the largest game, and are extremely well designed to provide the ultimate in strength. But they are also among the new kids on the block, so they will have to develop their reputation before we will know for sure.
