Thank you. The credit goes to Nate as I gave him a free hand to decide on what woods to choose.

i've been looking at those latley.  Love that takedown system. Just the ticket for mountain goat hunting.

V I Archer,

Here's Nate's take on it,  "man that sleeve is bomb proof i put 2 layers of carbon fiber + 1 layer of glass cloth over that on the male end and its just the right fit nice and tight!"

I just found out Nate is working on my 2pc Expedition Hunter!

If you speak to him again, remind him that there is a bit of leather work to be done on mine.    ;)

Thanks, Sawtoothscream.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nate had yours about done Dodger. I expect he has several in various stages of build.

What color leather are you getting for the grip? I'm also on the list for a 2pc Elite with a Cocobolo riser and I'm going with brown.

Hi Danny,

He's threatening to go fishing this weekend (not that he catches anything        ;)  ) so he'd better complete the leather work before that as I am going a bit mental checking my e-mail for more pics.   :D

The aesthetics were also left to his discretion and so far I can't complain. Let's see what colour he decides on.

I look forward to seeing your new bows and hope you get them soon.

Nate did just advise me on the merits of Carp Fishing as a stress-buster.   :bigsmyl:

Your bow will look great with black or brown for the grip, due to the black glass. My 2pc Hunter has a black grip and it looks sharp.

It hasn't worked for him though. He's pulled out all his hair trying to get at those carp.

You're right. Either a dark chocolate brown or black will go well with this bow.

Can't remember ever shooting one of these great looking bows.., but I'm definitely a fan. IMO, you picked near perfect specs. Well done.

That's a stunner right there! Well Dodger, now comes the wait for the Postal Services to deliver her to your anxious hands.

Please post more pics when you get her, and Congrats in advance!

Thanks, Buddy. There was some concern about sandwiching the glass in the limbs but Nate found that if it was done in a certain way it actually added a bit of zip. Also, the originally specified length was 68" nock to nock but I later settled for a compromise 66" n-t-n length.

Quotenow comes the wait for the Postal Services to deliver her to your anxious hands.
It will be coming via courier, Danny. Postal customs give me a very hard time because I refuse to bribe the blighters. However, for smaller or less expensive parcels I have no option but to run that gauntlet. They are currently sitting on a small parcel from 3 Rivers containing the feathers, points etc. that I need for the arrows I will be using with this bow.

Thanks, Jeff. Once the finances have recovered, I will be badgering you for a bow.    :D
