I dont know how to do it. its a wonder I know how to do this!! looks dont matter anyhow.that said Ive never seen a ulgy silvertip.Iam here to tell you about how this baby shoots.I orderded this bow new I have owned it for a month or so.this thing shoots with incredable speed an acuracy.my shooting has improved 10 fold.the more I shoot the better I get, this is by far the nicest bow I have ever onwed.it is a walnut riser with burl elm limbs fastflight an rough sheep horn tips 52@28 this thing is perfect in every way.it is worth every dime,an every dayI had to wait.I have owned a lot of bows some high dollar an some middle of the road this one kills the compitition in all areas.this is ofcourse  my opion.spend the money an wait the time.its all worth it!!!!!!P.S heck yea I got the checkered grip!

Congratulations on making the decision Plumber!  Tips are perfect hunting bows. That Elm Burl sounds very nice.  It does seem like a long wait but the time goes by very fast (seems like it has been going by way too fast since I turned about 18).

Are you shooting off the shelf or an arrow rest?

Good job Plumber, Silvertips are legendary bows.
However, I really need some pics or else.

Congrats on the new bow!!

I've never shot one, or even seen one in person, but the pics I've seen of them are incredible. All the reviews are just like yours too.

Nothing like a bow that just makes you smile all over when you shoot her.   :bigsmyl:  Congrats!

Nothing like the arrival of a new bow!

Shot one at the IBO Trad World.

Very nice and easy to discern why the Silvertips have such a strong following.

Congrats!!!!!

I put off buying one for years . I bought one in 2008 and now have 2 . The checkered grip is AWSOME. Mine is a killing machine .

Hard Times

I bought a used one about a month ago, I love it. Took it to my local archery shop to shoot, and barely made it out of there with it. It's beautiful and shoots off the charts. Can't wait to take her to the woods.
