They make a scent free soap or I just put a little baking soda in instead of detergent.  Then hang dry outside if at all possible.

As stated above. I always put some fresh cut pine branches in the plastic bag with my duds.
I also let them "weather" outdoors 1 month before
opening day,in a shady spot,away from the house/barn/etc.
Make certain your exhausted when you reach them Pearly Gates.

I second the baking soda. You can buy the scent free soap but i dont think you have to.

baking soda, air dry outside then bag them with items from the area I'm hunting in. I like to use cedar when I can. Fleas and ticks don't much care for cedar.

Use wool.   Almost never wash!

A few years ago, I bought a bunch of "Sport Wash" when it was on sale at Wally World after hunting season... I've been happy with it.  It's unscented and has no UV brighteners.  (I hope I can find another deal like that again sometime!)

(To help keep camo from fading, wash it inside out and hang it to dry inside out as well.)

Sport Wash is all I will allow my wife to use on any of my clothing. I have been using it for years, and not just on camo clothing. It is also great for Gore-Tex type rain gear.

I just use Purex Free and Clear. Unscented with no dyes or perfumes. Baking soda works good also, but it is nice to have some real soap when dealing with really dirty clothing.

Ive used it all. The name brand hunting stuff. to plain non scent detergent. Sports wash. I don't have anything I use all the time just try and use something scent free. Then store in a something air tight.

Baking soda and most important let it dry at the full sun as long as you can.The sunshine destroys every scent molecula.

I use 1/2 baking soda and 1/2 borax.    Borax might not do anything but we used it for years and my clothes never stunk. Kind of a habit I guess.

I use baking soda also.....even the so called "no scent" washes leave a faint oder to me.....also hang clothes out side to dry and store with leaves and cedar limb in the container......

I use sport wash no UV brightners added for outer wear and free and clear no perfume or dyes for everything else. After washing and drying I spray permanone on outer wear to kill ticks and chiggers . I bought a blacklight and found that some of my camo glows...I only use that glowing camo under non glowing camo now

TxAg

1 cup baking soda and cold water

ToxophilitePastor

I use any scent free soap and then let hang outside for a couple of weeks. I try to get hang them far from normal life.
