Although not a trophy, I'm proud non the less. Afetr target shooting awhile tonight I got the unsatisfied feeling of having to wait til October for bow season to start. I really dont have a good place for groundhogs here so I figured I'd improvize.
I started roaming my backyard and shooting at bees. I got my first one after about a dozen shots and my second one right after. The third took a few more tries. Not too bad 3 for 24. The shots ranged from 3 ft to the furthest kill at 12 feet.

I'm sure you aimed at the bee and took out both lungs for a quick kill, you are quite a shoot!

Must have been a honey of a shot!  So, just how hard is it to track a wounded bee?  And when you measure distances, do you measure in bee-yards or people yards?

:clapper:
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

I remember my first butterfly he required a second finishing shot, them guys are tough!

Dunno if I'd risk taking on one of them guys without carrying a back up firearm.
