I'm 72 and still enjoy archery a lot. I hunt and go to traditional shoots twice a week. Am shooting 56 and 58 lbs at 30 inches. Also shoot self bows up to 57 pounds that I've made. Enjoy making them.

I was 70 this past June 19th.  Still do most anything I want although some of it takes a little longer to get finished up.  My bow is a 57# BW MAII built about 20 years ago.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the inspiration and dedication to trad. I am truly a pup at 28, I love to learn from those of you who have experienced so much life and still live it with such vigor. Keep shooting straight!!!!

I'll be 72 in a few weeks.  I've had to stop doing some things I used to enjoy, like motorcycling and mountain climbing, but fortunately the old bod is still holding together for archery, and it has become the activity I enjoy most, and do most frequently.

Turned 70 earlier this spring.  Will be doing a 2-week DIY hunt for elk and mule deer in Idaho later this fall, and 3 weeks during the rut at my cabin in northern Wisconsin later in the year.

In the meantime, I'll be spending some of my time riding my Harley, repairing and paddling wood and canvas canoes, fly fishing, grouse hunting, and .......

I'm luckier than he##.  Still in good health, have an understanding wife, and the time and almost enough money to do what I want to do. Retirement is good.

70 next month. Days I feel 25, days I feel 100!

Will turn 70 in November. Still getting it done, but I gave my climbing stand away 2 years ago, and just took delivery of a 45 lb longbow.
Keep em Sharp!

I was 73 last month. As long as these old knees and ankles holdout I will still be climbing trees. I am shooting a lot less weight than I used to. I shot an antelope, a turkey, and 3 deer last year with a 40lb at my draw bow and all fell within sight of where I shot from.

I'll be 70 in nine days.  I still Hunt, fish and camp in the high country.  I quit smoking at 22 and don't drink much other than beer.  I consider myself lucky.

I'm more limited by a leg injury four years ago than age.

Come August 27th I'll kick the season off at 10,500 feet.
