Been really enjoying how the Whip shoots. It is so light in the hand. So now I'm looking for a strap-on quiver. Any recommendations for a smaller, say 4 arrow, quiver that won't weight it down too much?

Snag, just send me that Toelke and you won't have to worry about getting a quiver for it!!! HA HA Flint

TxAg

It threw the balance off for me. Had to use a backquiver instead.

David, Although I use Great Northern's Sidekick side quiver, I did talk to Dan about this subject once and he reccomended the Great Northern strap-on longbow quiver which is made I believe from the same frame/hood as the Sidekick.

Dan Adair

Just come down to the shoot at Polson this weekend and ask Dan.  Love his bows.

I'll be the guy with the blacked out Schaeffer Silvertip with rattler backs, probably shooting in 3rd place  :D

Send a picture to Bill at Zipper and he can make you the most beautiful and functional matching quiver you can find.

Am using a medium Big Jim's and it works fine.  Would like to try a 5 arrow, winged Eagles Flight at some point in the future to move the shafts back more in line with the lower limb though.

I have been using a Skookum single arrow Quiver and a back quiver. Does not seem to affect the balance of the bow.

LONGSTYKES

I use the GN strap on as Dan suggests. Works very well on both my 1pc Whip or my 2pc TD Whip. Any good quality quiver should work well though. Dan does make an awesome bow. snag good luck

John, the Kanati is one I have considered.

I purchase a Slim Jim from Anneewakee Archery and really like it.  John's quivers are very well made and has a very nice method of attaching to the bow...easy on and off and secure.

Here is a nice little horsehide quiver. It's one of my favorites.

Here's another one with the wing attachment as Green mentioned.

Good luck picking one, Snag! I'm thinking about a small one too, but the choices are ALL good. Might be a coin flip!

A friend offered to send me a couple to try out on this bow. This will make it easier!

snag ..do yourself a favor an look at Big Jim's bow quivers..the small holds 4 arrows "good for 4 field tips" gets to tight with broadheads but the med would work with B heads..I have one of the small ones on my son's "Reilly hood" long bow it's very nice..

Just too a look at Big Jim's site. They look good. After I try the ones my friend is sending me I'll reconsider which way to go. Thanks, David

I have a strap on mini Boa ( 4 arrow ) on a PLGA and on a Pronghorn. The leather hood model.
They are very tight and quiet.
