Just got back from Wild Horse Creek with my new 54" Mariah. 50 lbs at 28". It is a cocobolo riser flanked by olive ash w/ hard maple core limbs. The tips are black micarta, maple, and cocobolo. B50 15 strand string (extra string included). The matching wood footed arrow was a nice touch as well.
A must place to visit if you ever are in the NE Kansas area. Great guy to visit with and to buy a bow from. I'm already planning my next one.

Actually, 'ONE' is a very loooose term. In the last 2 years I have purchased 19 bows including recurves, longbows, and compounds. Most of the compounds are on the market now. So I guess when I say next 'one', I probably should translate that to at least 2-3. I'm glad Mike has lots of wood options!

I shot 3 different arrow weights and spines and it handled them all very well.

Wow, that is a very nice looking bow.  I really like the smooth lines of it.  Great looking wood combo also.  Is there a website for more info?

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I went up to Mikes last weekend to shape the grip on my new Kestrel.  I agree, Mike is great to deal with and builds terrific bows.

Great looking bow!  That would be a good one to use out of a ground blind.

Took it out today and found some woodies that were spined right.  Here is my first attempt at cresting from a couple weeks ago.

That looks great to me.  Maybe a white nock instead of black so it shows up better.
