There are some Trad Gang members who recently donated some needed archery items for our local  Outdoor Outreach  program. It is a week-long camp, and this is our 9th year in helping kids celebrate life through outdoor activities and fellowship.

We THANK YOU! for your generosity and being a part of our summer!

A special thanks to a VERY generous TG member, for donating a BUNCH of his beautifully handcrafted cedar arrows. They shoot great!

Kids are 4th, 5th, 6th graders. And also 7th, 8th graders later in the day.

Most of our campers are considered "kids at risk"... 'nuff said on that subject. We combine many different activities throughout the day, archery is just one of them. But I've heard it is their favorite. :-)

FAST FORWARD to this year, this week....

Yesterday (Monday) was a bit hectic, as 7 groups came through between 9 am and 6 pm.

Today (Tuesday) went a bit smoother. I had a little BIG helper (my granddaughter)... and the camera too!

Bows, arrows, and targets ready.... awaiting the next group.

The biggest REWARD on Tuesday...

This young man is right-handed, with a patch on his right eye.

He was shooting left-handed very well in no time at all!

Time to start building more arrows....

need to add field points to our stock, since I got more 5/16" shafts late last summer.

It's a year-round, on-going endeavor to keep stocked-up in supplies. :-)
