There aren't a lot of guys who have experience with selfbows. That's probably why you haven't gotten a response. What are you wanting to shoot out of it? Wood, carbon, aluminum?

2117 or 2215 on Easton shaft selector for a longbow based on your "full length" comment, which I believe is 32".  Selfbow is not an option.  You might try a 3 Rivers test kit.

I shoot a 50 lb Martin Hunter, and have my 2117s at nearly full length (about an inch off the end) with 125 grain points. I imagine that full length 2117s might be a good starting point? Aluminum is pretty forgiving, and easy to cut down if you need to stiffen them.

What point weight were you looking for? That may dictate the spine of arrow you need. I think that if you have a heavier point, you need a stiffer spine.

Del, I talked with a guy I know who shoots self bows. He told me to tell you that if your bow is cut 1/8" or more before center try full length 1916 with 145gr heads and if they show weak trim 1/4" off at a time until they fly decent. He shoots an bamboo backed hickory bow 54#@ 27" and shoots 29" 1916's on his. I hope this helps you out as randy said you will be in the ballpark.
