I thought 'Proletariat' was a very good word & I just wanted to be the first to use it on TG  :D

I'm trying my best to think up some kind of witty analogy between Poundcake & the Capitalist/Socialist ideal, someting to do with all the substance being around the outside, circling a hollow center, but for the life of me I'm coming up stumped!

I'm still on the MK LLC team ... but really on the St Judes team as we all are.

I'd bid more but I have to go to the Dentist on Wednesday ... and we all know how much those guys charge.   :D

Alright Ken!  You have certainly stepped up to the plate for MK!  And as a result have become our first qualifier for a WI whitetail hunt!

I sure would like to have you as a guest.  Buddy and Dakota are invited as well of course

I'm back to posting on the regular computer - this is much better!
I just went through my list of MK bidders and $4,280 is the correct number for MK.  As of now that is.
Stayed tuned for further updates!  :readit:

Whip worked me to the bone this weekend to help get his whitail paradise in shape withholding water until I got the work done. As I dragged myself back for my meal of bread and water he informed me I owed $100 for my pound cake desert. Add mine to MK.

I have to admit that it is. And I really think you are safe to assume that you are indeed the first to use it on Trad Gang.
The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

Way to go Bruce!!!!

We are still down folks. Couple hours left to take this over the top.

If we decide to let sunny,Larry, and 1k win we need to at least break $5000.00. Lets do this for the kids!!!!!!
We are at $4380.00 right now.
Nows the time to sprint!!!!!

The Duckbutts are just sittin back, in total awe of you whole bunch of crazies.  I wish there was more we could give you than pound cake, but thanks again for letting us be a part, again, of something so incredibly special.  It's amazing how many of the same guys are back this year driving this thing to new heights.  You know who you are and we do too.

Good luck everyone,
The Duckbutts

House

OK I just can't take it anymore...put me in for a $100 share for the MK, LLC team.  Come on guys following this thread we need a few more!

Is it time to pull out a Tippit Blade.  If we win, I'll throw this blade into a MK,LLC shareholders drawing by Lil D.  But unlike last year, I want a MK,LLC winner and my Cake! tippit

Julian,I think poundcake is enough!!!! You start adding strawberry or something like that and I'll have to sell the boat, dog, kids, house, etc. to get some cake.
Sorry, let me correct that,no dogs are being sold.

The showing of the participation of the kids during this whole auction speaks volumes on how they too want to help some needy kids. Don't change a thing Julian,it's perfect just the way it is.

Welcome Travis!!!

OK-I hate odd numbers. I'll throw in the extra $20.00 to even this up. Than should put us at.....?

I believe we are at $4500.00.

Oh my Jeff, look at that beaut. I was typing when you put this up. If that isn't incentive then what is.

Yep leatherneck, you're good at math.  $4,500 is the MK total thanks to Smoke, House, and your $20 kicker.

Jeff, that is an incredible pot sweetner for the MK team!   :notworthy:    :notworthy:   I thought with all the knives you have put out on the Bama Twister thread that your inventory might have been depleted!

Here is what the MK team has in their sights:
1) Pound Cake
2) Tippit Blade
3) For any MK contributor that hits the 1K mark a Wisconsin whitetail hunt.

How's that for incentive?  We're closing fast on that 5K mark, and there is still time.  Let's do it!
