Just wondering how quiet they shoot and how good do they penetrate in 4 blade model on deer.I'm looking to shoot them on my 55lb Dryad Orion.Debating between Phantoms or the magnus stingers.I know they should both leave excellent blood trails.

I haven't used the Muzzy Phantoms, but they look really good to me.  I shot a doe last fall with a four blade Stinger and was really impressed with the amount of damage.  The Stingers fly like darts and I was very impressed with the performance.  I suspect the Phantom would give you like results.

they both fly great from my 55# longbowand mlower pondage bowss i like the phantoms as the bleeders are just as wide as the main blade. and easly sharpened i have never herd any wistling or any thing with them and the stingers are easly sharpend th bleeders are not as big as the phantoms but i shoot both and have always had exalant blood trails with them some times the block on the stingers rattles a lil i just take it off and place string wax under it an put it back on thats care of that but both are great heads cant go wrong with ither one take care jake

After the last few years of trying different broadheads, I've gone back to Muzzy Phantoms.
I've never had a problem  with penetration or noise.

muzzy products are great. however I never shot the phantom.I do shoot the 150gr stinger an love it real good flight an very sharp out of the box.

The Phantom shoots great. Those and the VPA/WW elite are may favorite.

Both are excellent broadheads so it basically comes down to just picking your poison between the two.

I love the Muzzy Phantom broadheads in both two and 4 Blades. They are tough and really hold a razors edge.

As many have said both are tough and both will do the job. I shoot stingers myself. Though I have seen first hand a phantom take down a wild bison and it perform excellently.

Has anyone noticed a difference with bone contact performance and penetration between the stinger's  tanto tip and the needle tip on the muzzy's?   These are two heads that I also am considering. Seems to be a toss up between them.

Shot and killed many critters with them both. The Stingers are sharp on the backs of the blades and the bleeders are a smaller diameter. I think they have penetrated better for me for that reason. Thats why I prefer the Stingers.

the 220 phantom are really strong and easy to resharp with a KME ...

I really like the Phantoms.

Both are very good.I like the Stinger 150 gr.

I like the tip alot on the stinger as far as tip curl is concerned on bone hits and the factory edge has been very very good for me out of the package on them.

The trailing edge is sharp on the stingers as mentioned above.That helps if the arrow stays in the animal.Its cutting every which way as the animal runs off.They fly great as well.The price is good as well for the quality you get.

Looks like its a toss up on which 1 to go with.Thanks for the input.I think i'm going to try the phantoms.

I lile the magnus stinger 125 gr. Very quiet and fly true for me.

I have had excellent luck with magnus stingers in both the 125 and 150 grain 4 blade models. I like the 4 blade because the bleeder blades are tough but smallish.  Also, you cannot beat how magnus stands behind their broadheads.  Mike at Magnus has been extra great to me in replacing some heads and with advice. That being said, I've never hunted with Muzzy's.  Like someone said above, pick your poison and I'll bet they perform the same.

Last year I shot a 125gr. Stinger threw both lungs and 3/4 in. deep into the round off side leg bone. Drove it in so far I couldn't pull it out with a pliers. I could sent it to Magnus and get a free one but I won't. I have the bone yet with the broadhead in it. Great heads!!!!
