Deployed a Covert Special ops with a SIM card for wireless transfer of images in real time.  Put it out last Thursday and got my first image today.  Not the greatest but see if you can find the deer!

I have the camera bolted to a tree on my hunting spot.  I am using a cover special OPS

http://www.dlccovert.com/product-specialops.html

It has a SIM card and will send the image to my email as soon as the photo is recorded.  So I get the images real time.  the cell phone images are not big files although the camera is storing the photo on the SD card.  So when I recover the camera I can download the large image.

I had another photo recorded around noon today.  Lots of day light activity.....

Here is a link to the photos.  I plan to post all the images I record here so you can keep track.

That is interesting, do you have to have cell coverage where you hunt to use it?

Gen, if you go to his link it says there has to be cell service and the provider has to use the GSM network..whatever that means. But you better ask your provider before putting it up.

Covert Special Ops camera does not support Verizon.  They are working on it though.  I had to get an AT&T SIM and there is coverage at the site.

You will be spoiled to getting pictures sent in real time now. I am running a couple of these cell cams the HCO 580 and Ltl Acorn MMS models myself. I use one a my main gate helps me keep track of who is coming and going on the land it has already alarmed me of unInvited guest twice.
