Nonresident deer hunting licenses may be applied for through the DNR's web-based license sales system or by calling the telephone ordering system at 1-800-367-1188. To apply online, go to hunting.iowadnr.gov and click on "Buy Your Hunting and Fishing License Online" and follow
the prompts.

Thanks for the heads up, I have been pondering all week weather to try the lottery this year or buy a point.I've got two already.

they guys who hunted with us last year each had 1 point prior to applying as a party. With two you should be in a pretty good position to draw.

I have had three for two years, but don't need to spend the money this year.  Do they kick you out after you don't apply for a few years?

I dont know the answer to that, but I am sure if you call the number i posted, they can tell you or direct you to somene who can. I have not seen or heard that they expire.

Well, obviously the state is not open to answer the question. I did talk to the call center to confirm my points.  They were very nice, but could not answer the question either.  Tonight is the last time to register.  Have they ever extended this period before?  Man I have cut this thing to the end.  Thanks for the help.
