I'm not understanding your post.  Can you explain please?

I am thinking of getting an Excel 21 inch to replace my WARF.  Are the limbs you put on it listed at 35 pounds on a 21 inch riser?  My limbs are listed at 38 pounds for a 25 inch riser and I figure that'll give me a bow that will come in around 42 pounds or so on an Excel.  I don't know what they'll be when fully cranked down.

I am planning to use a very similar setup (Hoyt Excel 21") with medium Samick Privilege limbs (that I will paint matt black) for a total length of 64".

They only doubt that I have is that I have a 30" draw length. Will I have a stacking problem?

The alternative that I was thinking was the 64" Samick Journey (Will the stacking be less of a problem in that case?)

Nice entry level ILF riser and can be an easy shooting very accurate setup, but IMHO a tuning fork with any limbs much over 45#.

PS:  find a Black Bear WARF...far far superior.  One of the best feeling and shooting ILF risers one could hope for for cheap $.  Throw on a 5" Doinker and you barely need to hold the thing:  balanced like a dream.

I am just starting so for the time being I will get the Medium Samick Privilege limbs at 26# (That with the 21" riser and my draw length makes a about a 32-34# bow)

I'll use it for 3D for the time being and then will upgrade the limbs (probably to the carbon ******** at 45#) for hunting.

For hunting I think you will find a shorty plunger to be more practical...full length plungers just seem like they would always be snagging on things...I am going to try one soon with the Para Rest I have on my Hoyt Desperado...I am also considering putting a sight on that bow to increase my effective range a bit

I draw 30.5" and had a 64" Excel outfit set up for hunting. I did not experience any stacking, and if I recall, I used medium length limbs with the 23" riser for a 64" bow(?--I think that's right).   I thought it was a very good shooting bow, tolerant of arrow spine and much more quiet than I thought it would be.
